Bill of materials 
Bill of materials - Bom - are defined within a Job.
By defining Bill Of Materials for a Job, then each Bom item can be associated with Traceability.
Traceability data associated with Bom item will be automatically stored in Production Database.
Located within Job Menu items

Traceability options for a Bill Of Material item :
Example Bom item with Traceability kind Batch
Traceability Option |

As name suggest, Traceability data of such Bom item will not be stored. |
Batch |
In this option, a Batch Tag is associated with Traceability Data. The source feeding the Batch Tag value can be configured from the Batch Tags window. |
Unique |
This option imposes Operator to enter value for Traceability Data. In the configuration, a sub-option is provided Copy the entered data to a text-typed Tag. |
Using Bill Of Materials Item
A design item, so called BomItem , is provided in the Design Items. Placing it into Monitor1 will enable operator
- Understand that it will be consumed - a visual Guidance -
- Enter Traceability data when Traceability Option is Unique
Example Bom Item in Monitor1 and Linked with a Bom Item via Property Grid
