Inserting a Design Item into Canvas
Drag & Drop the item from the toolbar into the canvas.
Selecting a Design Item
Click the item on the canvas.
Operations on a Design Item
Once the item is selected, Move, Copy, Cut, Delete, LayerChange (Send to Back etc..) operations are available. With a right click Context Menu popup for operations.

Editing Properties of a Design Item - Property Grid
Once the item is placed into canvas, select it by a single click. Property Grid will display the properties of selected item. Customize and configure.
