Simulation
Simulation
There are 2 types of Simulations :
Simulation |
Description |
Step |
It is possible to simulate a Job. Especially, Simulation is helpful during design phase. When a Job Simulation is started, the Job is executed as if it is running in production, with the exception that no data is saved into Production Database. To Stop the simulation, use Stop button in Context menu or alternatively on top banner. |

In Simulation, Events are executed, therefore, be careful with the output signals that may cause an actuation of a connected device/actuator. |
|
In Step Simulation, Reject, Rework and Next buttons do not work. Because, in Step Simulation, as name suggests, the flow will not be directed to Reject, Rework or to the Next Step. Those buttons appear to illustrate what will be shown in Run-Time for the sake of completeness. |
